Founder Michael J. Stigler is an Electrical Engineer with a degree from the Purdue University School of Engineering with 6 years of experience directly with Autonomous Robotics.  This includes developing vision systems, electrical boards, embedded systems for the sensor interaction and embedded level robotic control, and high level software applications & algorithms on the PC.  Before starting silicis he participated in two DARPA Grand Challenges, spent two years working on Unmanned Aerial Systems for a small government contractor, and two years designing medical robotics for clinical diagnostics.
